First leg in Open A

I showed once on carpet with Justice. Never again. It was a ballroom with this crazy casino-ish(red, purple orange flower burst pattern) carpet in Duluth, MN(DECC arena was being remodeled). They didn't even put anything down on it. Weird. Justice lost his articles in the stupid carpet and had to air scent just to find them. I also think it smelled funny because he didn't want to put his nose anywhere near it. Now when I see carpet, I toss the premium.

We have a trial held in an indoor sports complex, there will be 7 judges for obedience alone with only 3 of the optional titling classes are offered. Unfortunately no wildcard classes which I dearly love! I believe Rally is also held at this trial. The entries are huge but it's a rather difficult trial site in that the rings are setup on artificial turf with embedded designs of yellow and white spots in an array of sizes and stripes of many colors. If that wasn't enough, along side of rings 4 and 8 behind glass they have a hockey game or some other type of sport being played on hardwood. Butting up behind rings 1 through 3 behind glass are hurdlers running back and forth. Talk about an overload of distractions!! If anyone is interested it's 2-trials on a Sunday held in Hatfield, PA.

Unfortunately none of our premiums list floor type but I so wish they did!!
