OMG. I had to laugh at the video editing. That's just funny. In their defense, I couldn't even tell who was who. I think it was the lighting, but it's still funny. I was sitting here giggling.
You did great though. What was up with Cran not taking jumps? Tell Cran jumps are FUN! Well, Koji think so. Yay for Dixie for two blues and two greens. Maybe next time Cran. I may have to do this vacationing/agility thing one day. Too bad I typically go to Hawaii though, lol. I think my dogs would die in the heat and humidity though.
As for video...the best operators, IMO, are ones who run agility. I think that's why Ashley's vid's are always so good. When a person can read a map or watch a course and know where the dogs are going (before your run), you get a better video.
Although my (now ex) hubby was there since day 1, taking video, sadly, he sucked at it for the most part. I think it has a lot to do that he never ran agility nor read the course maps, nor watched previous dogs, so had no clue where I was going.
well, my Dad is technologically clueless so the mere fact that he got the camera on and anything recorded is pretty amazing.
my brother could be good with practice- but yes, that was his first time at a trial so he really didn't know what was going on. so he did pretty good and at least got all the runs taped.
as for Cran- he's been doing the spin and run around the jumps for a while now- sometimes he jumps more than others. and actually he did pretty good that weekend.
They have both improved so much since their last trials in the spring.
I never even considered having Dad tape their runs at Sheltie Nationals- you would have laughed at those
