First time off leash for Callan

Spring as sprungand we are walking regularly again.

I took a chance on Callan today and tried him off leash. He was amazing! This dog is so darned smart. He knew the path and came when called...and the big test was....would he find the house? He did! He ran up ahead and right to my back gate! And he can take down any ball I throw him.

I really thin this dog needs a job....or agility. Maybe therapy.

Clever Callan!! I hope my Pepper is half as good as that when I'm game enough to try her off leash for the first time.

Savannah not having much focus, I was highly concerned about her, especially since "come" is not her thing unless it meets with her approval and time frame. We have been going to more deserted areas to work on this, and having success. I am so happy, because I have had serious doubts with Savannah. Maybe by her 1st bday, she will morph into the sheltie behavior I expect, ha:fl
