Food recommendation for a dog sensitive to chicken

Olive can't have chicken or duck (and we're avoiding turkey to be safe) but she has done well on some Acana varieties- Lamb (the single protein variety), Pacifica and I think Ranchlands (the one that is lamb and beef.) We were given samples of Zignatures (the trout and salmon formula) at a pet festival the other week and Olive is okay with it, but likes Acana more.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. I was looking at Acana Grasslands, but saw they have a new food, Orijen Tundra. I picked up a bag to try it. I find the little trial bags they offer really don't cut it for a good trial. I will let you know how I make out.

It has the following: ORIJEN TUNDRA FEATURES RANCH-RAISED VENISON, BISON AND ELK, CAGE-FREE DUCK AND QUAIL, AND STEELHEAD TROUT — ALL DELIVERED TO OUR KITCHENS FRESH AND GENTLY FREEZE-DRIED TO LOCK IN THEIR GOODNESS AND TASTE. No chicken that I can see.

Ugh. Chicken sensitivity is the worst. They put chicken in EVERYTHING. Hopefully Liam will do well on Tundra.

Lerwick can't do chicken either. Unfortunately, he also has trouble with turkey and duck... so finding food for him is pretty difficult! I tend to switch between Acana Pacifica and Acana Ranchlands. I also like the Acana singles pretty well... I can't remember the names, but there are a couple without any poultry/fowl he can do.

I was really interested in the Orijen Tundra, but had to rule it out when I saw it had duck in it. I'm not sure how he'd do with the quail either, but I'm guessing not well.

My girls do really well on Wellness Lamb and Barley. Not sure if there's any chicken fat in it. My vet likes Wellness also. Strangely enough, my kitty Mario can't tolerate chicken and it was a while before we figured it out. He eats tuna or oceanfish food only now and viola, no more problems. Good luck.

Lexi used to not be able to do chicken either. She's gotten better about it--though we don't use a kibble with chicken. She's done really well on Acana Grasslands.

I second Acana Grasslands. Bailey had a food sensitivity to chicken kibble when she was younger. She did really well on Acana Grasslands. I feed her commercial raw now, but I still use Acana Grasslands for treats.

Thanks for all the suggestions. Liam is doing good on the Tundra, but I do plan to trial the Grasslands, so I have options.

He was at the vet's on Saturday for his wellness check and rabies booster. The vet was just so pleased with him. As soon as he picked him up, he could notice the difference. Liam was 21.5 lbs on Saturday, holding pretty steady.

Now, if I could just convince him that it is not necessary for him to jump on the bed, launch himself into the air, and land on me with four feet. Sigh.
