Susan Garrett has opened free webinar presentations.
I think link will work for everyone, if not you might need to sign up for newsletter at SG agility blog or FB

Those of you who hated doing "stand" with your dog really will be pleasantly surprised. It is fun and spiffy way to learn Stand and does not take much time.
Now is to think what problem I am going to work on and what game I am going to invent.
What is your game?

that is an interesting question, just how much on line courses are going to be needed? I think there is going to be significant need for on line dog courses because sometimes people only have 1 petsmart with dog class avail in the area, or work with difficult schedules, or even have dog that is too shy, fearful or aggressive and they have been banned from every class they tried.
Or like Silvia Trkman classes, am I going to travel to Europe with my dogs? Even to Canada it will be a chore...
I learned about SG on this very forum when someone posted link to her Crate Games DVD and blog. Rest is history. Hopefully some lurker will check it out too and join fun loving game based training. And if more people play games with their dogs, there is great chance they will establish better relationship with their dogs so it will be harder to dump them at shelter or as recent ad " family outgrew their dog" thing...
Some people are innately brilliant as dog trainers and can achieve great deal on their own, I am not one of them. And if are freebies out there why not learn from them? Price is right:wink2:

Free or not I dont have the time for it.I want the real deal and I am thankfull we have all kinds of great trainers for all kinds of training.I will support my local trainers.

I find it very interesting topic. When does one stop learning? When does one say "I know everything there is to know about this trick and don't need more..." or does one ever say it? What makes one a good student?
Why would one learn this and not that?
How to make learning sexy?:biggrin2:
I remember some time ago I was watching Volhard DVD on raising puppy and teaching down stay. They used 30 minutes a day exercise when puppy is put into position and then just repositioned every time puppy tried to get up.... and I was thinking to myself " Oh nooooo, my dog will never have down stay because there is no way I can spend 30 minutes a day with my dog in down stay:eek2:" Sure enough we have had problems with stays. My heart was not in it. Then I got Crate Games DVD and before I knew both my pups "got it" without trying.
Few weeks ago my puppies learned Drop on recall in less than 5 minutes. Not only my dogs, who are obviously shelties but all other dogs in class learned it fast and well. I like that. Easy, fun and lots of joy for dogs and humans. I find this kind of training "sexy":biggrin2:
