I have never thought of that, but will try it. You feed your brains too? I have never thought of that, although the brain is considered a 'secreting' organ. How much do you give yours? I will try and find out if I can get some from somewhere.

Yeah, it's the only other secreting organ I can find in my area.
Since you're supposed to feed 5% of other secreting organ, I feed about .90-.92 1/2 lbs of pork brain a month. (Treader is fed 4% of his weight, which is 15 lbs.)

I've not tried pureeing brains but liver, kidneys, gizzards, yes. I let Romeo crunch up chicken heads too. Presumably there's a tiny brain in there somewhere! Should be sufficient to make up the 5% other secreting organ!

Yup! This forum has taken over my life, but I love it and I love everyone here! You guys are all wonderful. Even though I've never met you in person, I feel like we know each other and can call each other friends.

Don't worry Barb, the other forum is not like this at all, and not very busy either, but if there is ever a question that has to do with feeding your sheltie naturally, there are a lot of peolple on there that can and do help.
