FOUND Male sheltie near Pittsburgh

I belong to two other online communities and have asked that they let people in that area know. Its a church community that I belong to and there are many members in that area. Not, saying he belongs to one of them, but, maybe someone might know someone who is looking, hopefully, we can get this baby home

I saw this thread but, unfortunately, I don't know anyone in Beaver County I could begin to reach out to. From the Three Rivers Sheltie Club, the contacts I have - my breeder and one of the people in my agility club - one is out of town on vacation and the other just had surgery so I can't really reach out to them at this time.

Does your agility club have a list serve or yahoo group? Sometimes I forget about that but it might be worth a shot to send a message out about this guy.
 
Lord, please guide this frightened, sheltie boy to where he needs to be.

OMG this dog is terrified. Poor sensitive lost soul! Hope his owners find him or he gets into foster right away. Anytime we have an Aussie or BC or other herding type dog in our shelter, they are so scared..... the herding dogs just don't do well in that setting.
 
He found a home!!!

I have great news to report this morning. I just got off the phone with the vet (they were so very nice), and although the old owner was never found, one the vets long time adopters stepped up and adopted this little boy. The vet had been holding him for about two weeks now and no one inquired about him. But he has his new now and will not get into the system. Happy news to start our weekend!!!
 
Aww...what a lucky boy. Maybe his New Mom will come on here and tell us about his new life? One can always hope :D
