Just saw a post on FB a woman found a male Sheltie in Toledo Ohio on Sept 10. He is not neutered is very petite and friendly. She stated she has 2 dogs and had to go to work so had to take him to the Lucas County Dog Warden. He had no tags. I checked Craigslist she posted on there also. I sure hope his owners are found.

I posted on Ohio Rescue fb page as well. The woman there commented the dog was picked up the day after it was found. I told her it was just found yesterday and than she said it was picked up lastnight so I thought I would call the pound to confirm tomorrow afternnon after my Dr.s appt just to be sure we are talking about the same dog. I would hate to say it is found and there is a mix up about which dog this is. The post is still on Craigslist as well.

The pup was given to the Lucas County Dog Warden. One good thing the woman on Ohio's site said this Shelter is good about finding the pups homes and adopting them out.

Yes he and his owner have been reunited. I went to the origional poster's page and she said the pup belonged to an elderly man. He was out weeding the yard and turned around to find his dog had run off. Well that should be a reminder how quick they can run off and how important it is to keep our pups secured no matter how well behaved they are.

This is really wonderful news for all of us Sheltie lovers. Thank you, Dawn, for letting us know. I wish I was as good at FB as you obviously are.
