Found Sheltie in PA

Hi! I found a stray Sheltie in SE PA, near Media/West Chester. It is a male. He was living under a dumpster with 3 other dogs. If you think this is your dog, please send an email to [email protected] and give a brief description. I would love to be able to reunite this little guy with his owners.

If you cannot find his owners and you are not able to keep him, please put up a post here. I can get you in touch with a Sheltie rescue where he would stay in a foster home while awaiting adoption instead of a shelter.

Lotsahair responded to me by email as well, that this dog is not Tristan. I will continue to look for him by any means possible. Thanks to everyone for the concern and good wishes. it really does help.

I have decided to keep him. I have a bi-black sheltie and have been looking for another one for quite some time. It seems this boy found me first. No one has claimed him yet, but I will continue to look. In the meantime I am going to get him vetted and neutered, and begin socialization with humans. He seems most scared of humans, though has bonded quite strongly with me. I have some issues right now that I am looking for advice on, so if anyone has experience with stray dogs who are malnourished and full of scabs and fleas, please PM me.

Post up also if you can in addition to the PMs. It will add to the knowledge base of the site and may aid another pup in addition to the one you are saving :cool:
