Anyone feed fromm? Was giving prancer blue buffalo grain free puppy. Vet doesn't approve saying tht in his practice this has been causing lots of bladder stones n kidney stones.. so tired to petsmart they recommended grain free puppy simply nourish....His stools are horrible...not sticking wth tht. Local pet store recommended fromm grain free ....worried about protein content...do I need to worry when he is puppy...or not till older.. worried about kidneys...I'm a worry wart. ..I want him to hve the best chance for a long healthy life.

Destin was on Blue Buffalo Longevity puppy food which was discontinued....
after he finished his last bag, he got switched to the food that the other dogs were eating. They have eaten Fromm as well as other brands- very reluctant these days to be stuck on one brand.....

Fromm is a great food.
Unfortunately, for every opinion or even scientific article saying high protein is good, there are just as many saying it's bad. You just have to read what you can and make the best decision for your little guy. Good luck!

I think there's some confusion about the difference between high protein and excessive protein. If you're doing the latter, you're probably feeding the dog too much.

Food is considered high protein when it's over the 30 percent level.
