Funky toy that is chew proof!

Many, many months later......Laddie...what is the verdict? Mu furbalz is still going strong.....after now 3 dogs now fighting over it. Of all the toy brands out there GO DOG seems to have the most durable . Yeah I lose an ear or the tip of a tail, but the squeeks keeping on living, and the toys endure mostly. And there is some appeal to the toys that the dogs really like. Not sure what it is.

I'm really bummed. I finally caved and bought one of these...it was a huge hit with all 3! Lexi tugged with it, Enzo played fetch, and Bentley suckled on it.

Sadly after only a week it has a huge hole in the side. I really want to get another since this is the first toy that all 3 dogs have liked...but too sad that it didn't stand up to my guys.

Edited to add: And my dogs aren't allowed to chew on toys unsupervised...so this was all just normal play! :(

Go Dog has amazing customer service! The squeaker in my sheltie's Go Dog Flatties Bear broke after 2 years. For months I looked for a replacement and when I found one my dog wouldn't touch it. Instead he brought me his old one, tried the broken squeaker and flopped down with his head on the old toy wimpering. When I contacted Go Dog to see if they could sell me a new squeaker they apologized that the squeaker didn't last longer and sent me a complete set of new squeakers at no charge (including free shipping). After 4 years his bear looks well loved (he won't sleep at night without it) but it is still in one peice and the new squeaker is still working. I was impressed enough with their costomer service that I have bought Riley 9 more Go Dog toys since then and he loves them all (including the Fur Ballz :)) !

Coming up on one year for Zulu's Furbalz. He has managed to destroy the eyes, but it is still going strong. The grandkids love it too, they can throw it easily, and Zulu loves playing fetch.

Isn't it hilarious how even sheltie's develop attachments to certain toys. I had a sheltie hand puppet made by a company called Furry Folks, which got bought out and is now folkmanis. They did a line of quality animal puppets. My 1st sheltie adopted it when it was meant for my son, she would sneak it out of his room and it would end up under her as she slept at the foot of our bed. My son relented and let her have it. My second sheltie LOVED it also. When Kaleigh came, she use to put it in her crate. Her "reasoning" was if it was in the crate, then she didn't have to use the crate. In her brain it was "its" crate, she would take it out to play with it, but then put it back, and give me a look like, see mom, it's occupied. Kaleigh doesn't like her crate much. When I got Savannah, Kaleigh WILL NOT share the puppet. So I have to have supervised play with them. For being ancient, it still is held up pretty well.
