Gallbladder Again

They’re convinced it was a flare up of gallbladder disease which she is prone to. We’ll retest her bloodwork Monday to make sure she’s really on the mend. She seems pretty normal tonight. Fingers crossed. And yes, she does have to eat the icky low-fat prescription food and she’s not a fan. But she loves the no-salt saltines which she’s getting instead of dog cookies!
 
Glad Ruffles gets something she likes for all the things the doctors did to her. I wish we could tell them what was going on so they were not scared by strange people doing things that might hurt while they are at the Vets office.
Actually crackers sound like a pretty good treat to me. :)

Ruffles is at the emergency vet this morning. She hasn't been herself the past few days and not eating well, so we saw her vet yesterday for an ultrasound and bloodwork. Her liver values are way up and her vet told me to take her to emergency this morning so she can be hospitalized and on fluids while their specialist evaluates her for possible surgery. She's had GB sludge for several years and takes Ursidol for her gallbladder, but I fear we are looking at the surgery to remove it now. Please send some prayers for my sweet little girl.
