Oh wow, Cooper is beautiful!!!
Haha Finnie quite often gets his chest fur in the way when he's eating a pork skin and gets it yucky.Quite often when he is just relaxing (lol) he will reach down and grab some of that long white fur and pull it.....one day some of it wedged in his teeth like dental floss and I had to pull it out for him! Silly dog!!. It definitely is uneven looks light Santa’s beard on his chest. Thanks!

Cooper is a beautiful boy but I agree, it really does take them until 3 to get their adult coat. At 3 Piper (who had a full coat at 1) finally got his true colour (mahogany), before that he was a mousy brown and a bit patchy. At 3 it was like a switch was thrown. At 2 1/4 Finnie is just starting, he has the full chest and mane and his pants are pretty full but I just noticed the other day that he's actually got belly fur and it's getting long! I'm excited because he's just so different than Piper (and they're related!).
How much does Cooper weigh? Finnie is about 17" (unless he dropped a bit since he was measured last) and weighs 27 pounds (but not skinny, my mom is always telling me he's too skinny but she's always had fat dogs lol)
He is a big boy, but gorgeous, Wendy! Think about a sling to help you lift him. It would at least make it easier to get him in the car. There are a variety of different kinds here on Amazon. I know what you mean...mine only weigh around 20 pounds and there are times that feels heavy!
This is my favorite part of his coat..
Wow - wow - wow!!!!! I've been a Cooper fan since you first showed him, but man, that shot shows off an AMAZING coat! I liked the other side shot and was going to comment, read further and was blown away by the back shot! Will be interesting to follow him as he continues to fill out.
invest in a ramp- they are happy that they can get in the car without help and you don't have to hurt yourself lifting at all.He is a big boy, but gorgeous, Wendy! The one that I have is discontinued but folds up so it stays in the car and is ready at all times...........
