OK so Beau knocked over a jar that contained the droppings from a pan I cooked bacon in. It was cooling to throw it out, so luckily it wasn't hot but when he tried to get it but the grease fell on his head and now his fur is greasy. I have tried washing it with soap, and dish soap with water--but still greasy. Any suggestions?

Yep, Dawn dish soap is the way to go!
They use it on animals that have been exposed to oil spills!

That's happened to Deska. He was greasy for ages, i sprinkled talc on him - but more to stop him licking it
