Getting ready to compete

It looks great to me but we don't do agility! Glad you have healed and want to wish you and Toffee al the best as you start competing! I agree with k9kreationz, it looks cold there!! If you are going quick enough now, think of how fast you will be when you are warm!:biggrin2:

Looks great to me, Toffee man! Must be some set up in that barn:biggrin2:
I hate wearing any hats thought, they do not translate good for doggies to read our face and directions...

Lol, neither is being a human icicle, lolll
Thanks, love how things are starting to make sense to me!

I remember in one of Linda M book it was shown how sunglasses or hats covering sides can affect your performance. I think she uses trick- you send dog into tunnel and then call to you by turning your head sure nuff dog will come to the side where you head is turned to. I thought it was cool.
But yeah, I have no idea how you do it at this weather with "almost" indoor settings, yikes...

Lol
Nothing better to do on a frosty Canadian Sunday winter morning than go to a barn thats colder inside than it is in the parking lot, lol
I don't get Linda M's system anyhow, but GReg Derret system more natural to me, based on feet, hips and definitely shoulder turns, very little verbal commands... So not worried about face...
Worried about ME, being dumb is all, lolll

I've heard that you shouldn't wear sunglasses because eye contact is important, which I can understand. But I never heard of the hat thing. Will have to think about that.

You guys look great! I can't wait to hear about your first trials :smile2:.

Never heard about the hat thing... from a few clips I saw of the 2011 World's Championships in France, I vaguely remember some people had hats. I'm pretty sure of a woman with a baseball cap that ran 2 different dogs and was amazing.

Gosh I'm such a noob... I can't even remember the names and even from which teams they were. Without mentioning I don't have access to youtube to search for the video where I think I saw her. I'll try and look it up over the weekend.
