Rather a surprise, but a nice one to report that at the age of 13, Revel won Veteran Dog at Richmond Championship show!:biggrin2:

This win also qualifies him from Crufts 2013, although I'll make a desicion nearer the time whether I take him as it's a very long day.

He's doing very well in the Veteran Classes at the moment, I'm very proud of my special boy!:biggrin2:
 
Thank you all! For a dog really bought as a pet to do obedience and possibly a 'bit' of showing, Revel has done very well, although he didn't do any serious winning until he was about 6 when he had his first Best of Breed and Group - so I guess he is vintage:lol: He really enjoys it so much though, he loves being admired and the centre of attention - it's always a joy to take him in the ring. One thing which always impresses judges is that he still has all his teeth apart from the one which cracked and got the abcess. I have to be honest and say that has nothing to do with me, they never need cleaning so he is just lucky.:smile2:

His great nephew Epic has not followed in Revel's footsteps though - he has decided showing definitly isn't for him and has his sights set on being a performance dog instead.:winkgrin:
