Well, I've tried 6 times to say something thoughtful or poetic....all I keep coming back to is: It's sucks! I'm so sorry for you losing your friend!

I also tried to think of something healing but there isnt any word that heals our hearts when they are broken and in pain. I am so sorry.

We've said it before, Dr. Mac. You are a wonderful story teller, and your story about Skye and your son was touching, and funny, and beautiful. I could picture them as you described it. Perhaps you should put your Skye stories down in writing. It would make a wonderful book and bring back some lovely memories for you to keep.

We miss them so much when they leave us. It just isn't fair. Sending you warm thoughts and peace.

Dr. Mac - once again, thank you for sharing your heart and your hurt with us. We understand. I love the picture of your son and Skye.

The first pic is the one so vividly etched in my mind. I got the biggest kick out of that smile on her face. She was looking up as if to say "Don't worry Dad I am keeping an eye on this one so it won't disappear too." She was a special girl.

Your family remains in my prayers.

You are a very good story teller. Thank you for sharing skye.

I love the picture with your son using skye as a pillow. Beau lets me do that all the time
