Good dogs!

Thanks again, we are going to keep working on it. Tonight he didn't go after the leash in class, figures, when you want them to make the error!

As anxious as I am to get initals on his name, and so that I have an accomplishment for 2012 at the awards banquet next June... (shallow, I know.. :rolleyes2: ) I am also torn about not driving 3 hours in the morning to show him again... It is quite likely he could qualify and earn his UCD but really, I've been gone every weekend lately and I'm broke and burned out a bit. Plus, I want him to do well. We won't get another chance for a UKC trial till the awards qualification for the year is over (April 1) but that really answers my question - to show him now for the ego stroke I get later, or to wait till this team is ready.

There's my answer... wait till this team is ready. He deserves to be good and happy and to please me. Right now, I'm a little hard to please, and cranky.

Guess I'll sleep late in the morning, walk the dogs in the park, do laundry and pay bills. If I absolutely must go to Greenville, I can get up early Sunday morning and go...

I enjoyed the video. That is exactly what Mia did in our rehearsal run for the CGC test. We did a figure 8 between two poles that were 8 feet apart. She kept tugging at her leash. It was our pretend to walk through a crowd.

I beat my negativity into submission and Drove to Greenville, have a UCD on Justus and open leg #2 for Booby. Justus did not grab leash but .... Issues to discuss and work on but for today I'm happy!
Will share video once I'm home.

The video wouldn't transfer, I think the SD card is damaged.

Oh well, it wasn't anything special - same as usual - less bouncing and no leash grabbing though. :)

Now to get him to stay still while I toss the dumbell. (He can't do that yet...)
