Goodbye Rex - I will miss you

I am so sorry you lost Rex. What a gorgeous boy he was! I’m sure you’re missing him and so are the rest of the pack at home. I swear they take a piece of our hearts when they go

Roberta,
Rex looks like the most majestic of shelties! I have a soft spot for Mahagony colored shelties.
May the wonderful memories of your times together sustain you in the future.
Nothing prepares us for the loss of such a dear soul.
Blessing and virtual hugs to you. :hugs

Please consider posting a memorial on the Sheltie Nation Angels Page:

Just curious, where did you get Rex?

Thanks for letting me know about the Angels page. I posted a memorial and will check back later to make sure I did it right. Rex's mom was Citation Edge of Party and his father was Carloway Coronado. I believe they were both AKC Champions, but truthfully I don't know much about how that all works. I got Rex from Jane Howard (Citation Shelties) who I believe is an AKC sheltie judge. I never had a Sheltie before but after doing research they seemed like the perfect dog for me. I wanted to make sure I got a healthy dog, so I contacted a local sheltie club and they recommended Jane. Since then I've gotten a couple other Shelties from her and we have stayed friends ever since.
