This past weekend was the GLKC agility trial. Athena finished her MXJ with Qs #9 and #10 at this trial! She also won both of her jumpers classes! What a weekend!
We also would've Q'd in standard, but their table desperately needs to be sanded, and was very slick
so, on otherwise clean runs, she slid off the table while attempting to sit both times, which has never happened to us before. :/ Shame, too. Both runs were fast enough to win the class, and on the first days course, only 8 of all of the excellent dogs Q'd. She'd have been one of those few had that not happened.
I really hate that resanding the table isn't considered as important as the contacts. My dog shouldn't have to NQ just because a club doesn't take care of its' equipment properly.
