hi everyone! My name is Summer and my family owns 1 sheltie and 3 other muttly puppies. Abbie is our Sheltie and she is the most gorgeous and gentle sheltie I have ever met. (No, I'm not partial! :wink2: ) She will be two years old in two days and is just a joy to have around. I try to get good pics of her, but she seems to be camera shy...always moving her head and laying her ears back. She is something else.

I hope to get to know everyone and there furkids too!

Welcome to the group. Taking pictures of dogs can be a challenge. A lot of dogs are uncomfortable with cameras- they will do everything but look at you with the camera. Try and have it around and point without trying to take pictures, let her smell it if she wants. She'll get used to it and with enough treats, you can get great pictures (at least of one dog- many more challenges with multiple dogs)

Welcome aboard Summer. I know what you mean about having a hard time getting a good picture. My Buttons (now a Sheltie angel) didn't like the flash, so anytime I tried to take her picture, she would bark her disproval. I have very few good pictures of her.
