Ah the dreaded butt check. Every sheltie I have had seems to be embarrased when I look.

I would say they are more insulted than embarrassed! I get a look like "how dare you!" The silly pups will allow me to maul them while playing but try to lift their tail, and they clamp it down tight! Sometimes I need to push them down flat to get a good look!
