Happy Canadian Thanksgiving!

Nope we don't really have a thanksgiving or similar here. The closest is probably the harvest festival but to be honest I don't know anyone who celebrates that and it's not a public holiday.
Huh…interesting. I was curious because many of our traditions or holidays we celebrate were almost a carryover from early settlers from England… we celebrate Boxing Day and Victoria Day and our courts and parliamentary system is based off of yours. So I guess all this means that poor Monty doesn’t get any turkey?😱😱😱‼️‼️‼️

Thanksgiving is the North American version of the harvest festivals of Europe which include Samhain which became Halloween for us non druids.. in fact Wiki lists quite a few harvest festivals- a time of plenty and hope before the dark cold months of winter at least for us living in the northern climes. A time of reflection for all the creatures great and small, plant and animal and other, whose lives have given us nourishment and sustenance and companionship.

Monty loves Turkey but only really gets it over Christmas or of I randomly pick some up. It's probably for the best as my vet wants him to lose 1kg so he may have to live on rations soon :ROFLMAO:

Oh no, not rations for Monty! Watch out, Darren...he's capable of starting quite a riot! 🫨

Just don't let him drink alcohol is fattening and he will likely be allowed back in some pubs

:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
He is actually finallyyyyyyyy starting to calm down a little but not sure if that is just to get me to lower my guard when we are out :hide. He will be 10 next year so he may just be growing up finally haha.

Don’t let your guard down Darren! From my experience (Piper turned 10 this past April) while they may sleep more and harder sleep their behaviour doesn’t change. In fact it’s almost like Piper is worse at times…he has to prove to be that he’s still the tough guy and I’m not getting anything over on him! Lol
