I plan on heading to Canada for one in the future. But it was an awesome day, poorly planned, perfectly executed It was actually a bit more than he could handle but even he raved on it for a while.

The Angus trip was fun also. All the way over I was telling him how the new dog had to be OK'ed by Spitfire and there was a chance we would not bring a puppy home, and he made fun of me all the way over.

Happy Thanksgiving! Today would have been my parents 65th wedding anniversary. I miss her soooo much and time simply doesn't heal that. I am grateful though, that her sickness taught my dad communication and he and I are 'besties' now and chat at least twice a week. I am grateful to have all 3 of my kids together this year and praying for healing moments between two. I am grateful our oldest is here, alive and healthy. I am grateful that we have been blessed, not just with family and friends and all the 'usuals', but I'm grateful for struggles which have changed us forever and allow us to be together today.
