Barb let me just say this, I took one video of him howling so all could see. If I do recall correctly aren't you the one who posted video of your dogs chasing the lawn mower as your partner was mowing the lawn. I would say that is a less desirable behavior and more dangerous too.

Not to be rude or disrespectful but you bought I pet store you didn't become a dog behaviorist. :hide

This was posted in fun for all the people who haven't seen him in a couple months since my computer crashed that is it. You stated this and the beginning of the thread and there was no reason to post it again.

My dog is being trained well by myself and professionals. He is a very well balanced and healthy dog.

Our 2 shelties, Meadow and Reno, love to howl along with our husky,
Shilo. If you've ever heard a husky howl it can be very, very loud and add 2 shelties, OMG it is hilarious. Fortunately it doesn't happen too often so we let them have their fun for a few minutes and then ask for quiet.

I told you I would put that on Cue, what a great trick that would be! I just love seeing Shelties howl, it's too cute when they throw the head back!
He doesn't seem to be distressed at all, he's really just howling along to the sound.
 
Dawn, he's absolutely gorgeous! The howling is a hoot and I am so glad you shared that! Mine never get to howl... they stop short at sort of a yodel that sounds like they have a hairball in the throat! LOL!

Love your little Hartley boy, he's wonderful! Such a cute expression!

My Samoyed/Collie had that Husky type howl. She only howled when I played a certain CD a group called Baja....My first Sheltie howled when the Flintstones vitamin commercial sang "10 million strong and growing" at the end. Just those last few notes and he would run from where he was in the house and howl at the TV. He was so funny.

Thanks Joan, Gypsy and Chandler weren't howlers so the first time he did this I was hysterical laughing. I was happy I was able to capture it on video because he doesn't always do it but each time he makes me laugh.
 
Hartley is looking so grown up now and a proper head turner - handsome lad:smile2:
