Has anyone tried green-lipped mussels?

Brooke is back to limping while on our walks; she is on high dose fish oil (3,000mg a day) and a joint supplement. I have been reading about green-lipped mussel powder as an anti-inflammatory aid, and wondered if anyone here had tried it?

Brooke has a bone spur in her elbow and we think this is the cause of her limping.

My 3 dogs get some everyday. It was recommended by our vet/chiro. I can't say I see any changes, but our dogs also don't have any visible issues! Several local agility competitors that I trust use it as well, so that's good enough for me!

Yes!!! My previous girl was on it for stiffness in her joints. It worked wonders. I think I put her on it when she was 14ish...and she was on it until she passed yrs later. It gave her flexibility so she could run and play. If I would forget she would move slowly or kinda limp. Her collie friends used it with success as well. I highly recommend it. I got it from Swanson.

Seems over here just about everything as green lipped mussel in it. I had Deska on it for years. Have no idea if it worked, but certainly there's more evidence to support the mussel than things like chondroitin and glucosamine.
