Oh no! Sorry you are all bruised up!

I've only fallen once in a trial, but I'm sure it won't be the only time. It was really embarrassing at the time--and then DH fell at the exact same spot on the exact same course with the other dog. Everyone had a good laugh, and we were okay.

Here, at 43 seconds and 1:48 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bRbec5PkS9k Sorry it's far away, but you get the idea.

Not at a trial. I bit in the wet grass during practice once. Just slid like chicken quarterback.

We had someone fall at the trial today, they carted her off and called EMS. Turned out to be a severe ankle sprain, not broken. Though I think a break would heal faster.

Oh yeah, now I'm starting to fall in class too. But then again, before class was indoor on rubber mats. Now it's outdoors on grass. No wonder I'm falling. Ugh! Time to put on my new shoes, with better traction! Oh wait, I didn't slip, my legs weren't going fast enough. Never mind. Shoes aren't going to help me!

I have passed out at a trial in the ring and have fallen in class.Glad you are okay.I am call the accident waiting to happen. After I passed out at the trial I ended up in a car acciden on the way home!

You passed out? That's not good! And a car accident? Sheesh Sharon, take care of yourself! Granted, at least we know Shadow will most likely finish the course on his own. ;P

That's why I wrote "yet" in my title. I'm sure most of us will fall at least once. And many of those that fell, will probably fall again. Especially if you trial on wet grass (dewy mornings will do that).

I think falling at a trial is the worst though because 1. It's probably been taped and 2. there's a lot of people who just saw it. LOL. Ugh. I've given up on my pride already, I know I'll fall again one day. It's just a matter of time.

Wow! That is quite a nasty looking injury!

We saw a young girl fall and break her leg at a trial. The trial was early in the morning and the grass was still wet. So scary.

Those of you at the PetExpo on Saturday had the joy of watching my too long pants get in my way on the start line. My right foot got stuck in my pant leg, then when my left foot tried to step off, it didn't go anywhere, and over I went. The scribing crew had no idea what happened, just that I went from standing to kneeling. Even my dog was like "huh?"

I have been fortunate not to have ever fallen, probably because of the Blazing speed of MY dog:winkgrin: , Now with storm that lucky streak might not continue especially as she has a bad habbit of gettin in around your feet, even in the house you are always almost tripping & falling over her. You would think that she would learn but Nope.

I was watching some of the agility trials at the Expo this past weekend, but I missed that trick move...LOL. I did see a Sheltie trip while jumping onto the pause table.

One week later, I'm still bruised to the point that if I rub against my leg, it still hurts. I'm sure I can run, but this week, I am putting on my new shoes (so new grippy's underneath) and hoping I stay upright. At least I don't feel dizzy, however, I still have a headache. Joy.

Wish me luck in surviving practice tonight. Let's hope she doesn't work us.
