He doesn't really eat when he stays at my parents?

Aww poor Tully! Yeah Lil T does have separation anxiety. I didn't think he would miss me that much since he gave me the cold shoulder at daycare haha.

He was pretty sad I was gone (and no I didn't exclusively feed him), but I would thinks signs of depression would accompany the lack of appetite if that was the issue. Knowing grandparents, it is not an unfair idea that he is getting tasty food supplements. some dogs also don't do well on a free feed schedule and need it only available at meal times. I had a friend whose dog needed competition from a sibling's presense before she would eat. Oddly enough, a mirror would also work!

Hahaha if I put a mirror in front of Finnie when he was eating he’d stop and admire himself. He really is that vain!
 
Monty was very similar when he first started staying at my moms. He would bark for me at the door for hours and wouldn't eat his dinner (he would still drink his milk, he is not a fan of water).
It really just took time, the more time he spent the better he got. It started with him not barking during the day.....then he started eating a little, then a lot. He still barks a lot during the night if he has to stay over but he is a lot better now than how he was.
