Hello again, this time with Luna

It's been awhile, my last post was a couple years ago in the thread for our previous rescue sheltie after he had passed. I mentioned possibly getting a puppy at that time.

Well, we did get a puppy. Her name is Luna, and wow, was/is she a handful. We went from Apollo, who by 17 wasn't super energetic, and had always been pretty shy and pretty much wanted nothing more than to sit with me & my wife on the couch...to Luna who did not have a shy bone in her body and was of course full of crazy puppy energy. We brought her home in the midst of also buying a new-to-us house with about 6 acres of land. It seemed like a great place for a puppy...and it is...although moving while also trying to take care of a wild bronco of a puppy was a lot, to say the least. Haha.

Here is a picture from the facebook post where I first found the breeder. She was the last of the litter, because she "liked to do her own thing".

Well, as I said, she wasn't shy, that's for sure. We visited, and she ran in and jumped on my lap and started licking my face immediately. She has not been broken of this habit, though we've tried a few times. At the same time it is kind of endearing, so I guess we haven't tried too hard. She is stubborn/hard headed/her own dog...but we have of course fallen for her.

She loves running & playing, generally chasing balls as well as sitting in the hammock with my wife while she reads.

Here is a more current picture (it's generally hard to find a picture where her eyes are visible).

I'll probably start another thread to ask some questions regarding an issue/injury she's been struggling with for the last month or so regarding some limping on the hind legs (first it was her right, now her left) after laying down. She's had one set of x-rays (nothing found), and been tested for lyme disease (negative). But I probably shouldn't clog this post up with the full info, since this is the "Say Hello!" section.
