Hello from Central Connecticut!

Hello and Welcome! I am new to the forum as well and I am also waiting for my sheltie boy to come home! Except, I have a shorter time than you - just 10 more days! Isn't it difficult..... the waiting.

This forum will help. It has helped me as I have been reading and gathering so much information that I had forgotten since it has been a while since I had a puppy.

I can't wait to hear all about your new arrival!

((Waiting patiently for Cody!))

And in case I missed you while traveling, Welcome, Kathy and your new baby boy!! :biggrin2:

YAY!

More babies to watch grow up.

Congratulations on your new baby. I can't wait to see more pictures. He is so adorable right now.

Funny you should mention guinea pigs.....I took a picture of my Chloe with our four guinea pigs, and it looks like Chloe and a little of puppies. So funny. I think the picture is in my photo albums somewhere.

Shelties are the best. While, I am not sure that he will be housetrained in 2 weeks....they are very smart. With lots of socialization, they make awesome family dogs, as well as rewarding performance pups. Enjoy enjoy enjoy :biggrin2:

welcome
You're not alone in the waiting anymore, lol
I bet there is a large number of us who just are like awww, puppy pictures, when is that puppy coming home!!?

Welcome to the sheltie puppy world. I have just gone through it. My tri boy is now 9 months old. He is so smart that sometimes I think if he could talk to me he would. He is also in the throws of puppy adolescence which is a whole other world  keep the pictures coming. I love being reminded of what we went through!! Congratulations new mom!

Welcome

Hi DPsheltie. I to am in Conn.and have 2 shelties. Where in Conn.are you? I use to train my dog for agility in Manchester so may be able to hook you up for obedience.Your baby is cute.

Thanks everyone! :biggrin2: Don't worry about more pics.....I'm obsessed with photography. I'm probably the only person who can go to Disney every year and still manage to take 3000+ photos every time :rolleyes2:.

Sharon- I'm in Farmington. I think I was looking at a location in Manchester, but I thought that they only did agility and older dog classes (I could be wrong, since I've looked at several trainers). Also looking in Newington, Southington/Bristol, and Cheshire too! I think that there is a trainer in Avon specializing in Goldens, and maybe one in Farmington who showed agility with her sheltie. *sigh* too many choices! :biggrin2:

Were you looking at Tails U Win? That is where I trained Shadow for agility and they do everything there. I highly recomend them. They are right next to Adams Mill Restaurant. My friend Sally also lives in Farmington and has English Cockers and a Sheltie that she still trains there.
