Our first sheltie was named Teddybear (a previous owner's choice). When he passed away, we wanted to get two brother shelties and we knew that we wanted to stay connected to our previous little guy. Tyler was an easy choice, everyone polled in the family agreed. But the other name did not come easy.
As a peacekeeper, I plopped the phone book on the table and turned to the 't's'. One of us read all the interesting possibilities and the rest of us wrote down what each found appealing.
It only took three rounds of voting and "Tucker" was born.
