My Beau is only part Sheltie, but, 100% sack of sugar. And yes, they do like to follow their owners all over, Beau likes to follow me into the bathroom, I'm sure Gracie will follow you there to. They do like to supervise:uhoh:

Yes Grace does try to follow me to the bathroom. She has to settle with waiting outside though, with the odd whine thrown in for good measure.

Jennie I don't know of any dog shows here other than a very small one in Littleport Cambridgeshire which we visited at the beginning of August. It was here we met the breeder of our pup. I guess the easiest way is the narrow down the area of the UK you wish to visit and then contact the clubs that cover those areas. I am sure you will find something suitable.

Today Grace had her claws trimmed. I took her to a groomer as I needed to watch it being done, never having it done myself. She was as good as gold, so next time I'm going to have a myself.

Yesterday she had a bath and looked a little sorry for herself until she dried out.

Welcome to the forum, Gracie is beautiful. I currently own my fourth Sheltie he is a little over 6 mos old and his name is Hartley. Exhausting isn't it. :eek2:
 
Hi and welcome from Kent, England. I have a 15 month old chap named Epic as well as my two older boys Revel and Yogi. Epic was shown as a youngster but now we are turning our attention to agility and Heelwork to Music - neither of which I have done before. Yogi is also retired from the show ring and is enjoying his new career in obedience. Revel used to do obedience and showing but now he is just enjoying showing. It is nice that shelties can turn their paws to just about anything.:wink2: Many of our members here do sports like flyball, herding and rally.
 
Hello again. :)

We take Grace to puppy school and at they end they do about 20mins of agility. Grace was very timid at first but once we'd got her over every piece of equipment there was no stopping her.:lol:
 
Welcome! My husband and I were just on a trip to your part of the world in September - we did a horseback ride in the Brecon Beacons and were on a high ridge overlooking Hertfordshire at one point. Beautiful part of the world!

Your Grace is just a cutie! I've never met a Sheltie yet that actually enjoyed their baths, but they fluff up so nice afterward! :lol:

You will find lots of good information, nice folks and lots of support on this site. You were off on the right foot by posting a picture right away.

My two are both girls, Asta who will be 11 in January, and her aunt Ally who is 10. Wouldn't be without Shelties in my life!
