I have a sable and white sheltie named Luke who was born January 28, 2007 and he is such a joy to my family and I and is beautiful.
Tonight, I was teaching him a new trick where I'd say, "Bye-bye!" and then shake my hand at the wrist and teaching him to do the same and he got it after a couple of times. Then, of course, I'd give him the treat.
Well, after a while when I was on my knees teaching him to wave bye-bye, he started getting excited like he thought I was leaving him; so, he started jumping up on me, putting his paws on my shoulders and then getting down and going in a circle all around me in full body contact--it was so funny and I was laughing and kept telling him I wasn't going anywhere but was just teaching him a new trick--LOL!
