Hello from John and April

Welcome to the forum!

Your puppers are beautiful.

What great stories you tell of your Chelsea.

We have a 1 year old pup named McKinley (a.k.a MMM or the Mess Maker). Your pictures of the wet and soaking pup is a regular scene at our house. MMM LOVES the water. He lives in the brook and the black swamp. I will have to try throwing rocks in for him and see what he does.

We all look forward to getting to know you and your pups.

Welcome!!

April is an adorable little girl. Such a beautiful long coat.

Chelsea sure looked like she was the life of the party. I love the pictures of her in the water and full of mud.

Welcome.

Its hard to tell if April is small - she has such a huge coat, what a fuzz ball.

I have a little girl too - Tully is about 13lb and at 3yrs old has just gotten a thick fuzzy coat. Is April a tearaway like these little sheltie girls seem to be?

Oh, no, April's not one of those. Chelsea was the terror - seemingly an unendless supply of energy. :-) April's a little couch potato. She, at 4 years old (she's 5.5 now), would walk up hills as fast as Chelsea would at 12 yrs old, starting to suffer from heart failure. She'll take little spurts of activity, but no stamina. The two of them have been polar opposites in personality, temprament. :-)

And yes, she's a little fuzzball. She hates giving up her winter coat. I heat with wood in the winter, and April, will lay Right in front of the stove, and just soak up the heat. Chelsea would find the coolest place she could find, as far away from the stove as she could get, and pant.

Cheers,

J&A
