Hello from Kiyomi

I don't get why someone would even bother doing that! It makes no sense. As the requests go to you, there is nothing in it for the perpetrator???? Someone with too much time on their hands and wanting to cause trouble, I guess.
 
Wow that is just sad...I have to say so far knock on wood hasnt happened to me yet...Although I have to say I have a painting of one of my girls that I found on a Sheltie breeder Site in China...granted she did end up purchasing her sire later on but still!!

Oh well, that was disappointing. All types of people in this world. Apparently the perpetrator was using our pics to swindle others out of money in a non-existent puppy adoption. Tracing the emails and phone number, it was out of Cameroon. Since they aren't a US citizen, I could only report the ads as fraudulent. I had seen such things on the news, but never in person.

Thanks for the warm welcome and understanding. Vicky & I are now trying to leash-train our 13wo Kiyomi. She does well on the leash, but getting her to walk a straight line is still a little difficult. :smile2:
 
Cameroon is well known for being the source of many scams. I'm sorry you're photos were used to perpetrate a scam. Good thing you caught it!

Ken, I can't walk in a straight line. :smile2: Ariel and I must look a little tipsy motoring down the sidewalk.
