I just love this website and am new. I have a 9 year old male, sable/mahogany rescue sheltie named Danny Boy whom we love to pieces. I have had a sheltie named Pal growing up and had my own Lady and Pal II later in life. I love shelties - the way they look and their personality. When I got my Danny Boy at 9 mos. he weighed 19 lbs. and was very nervous. We changed his dog food and gave him lots of love and were very gentle and quiet spoken with him. Well he kept growing and growing and his fur got really shiny and thick and he weighs 45 lbs. The vet says he has just blossomed since we got him. He is now 9 yrs. old and living a life of leisure. He brings so much joy and laughter to our lives and I know I am a sheltieholic.
 
Welcome! Yes, we'd love to see pictures of Danny Boy. Our rescue girl, Annie Laurie, is also nine years young! :biggrin2:

I would love to put Danny Boy's pics up but I am using an Ipad and am not sure how to do it. Semi illiterate computer user. It took me long enough to figure out how to post on the forum. My Danny looks like baby Lassie and has what they call a "tight fitted jacket.". his fur is not pouffy around his middle. but he has lots of white pouffy for his chest. When we go in the car people always blow him kisses.
