HELLO from Middle TN

Just got my first sheltie in July. He was given to me; owner wasn't taking care of him. He had mites. Almost all his hair was gone from his face.

I took him to vet; got treatment; shots and neutered and he is good as new. I estimate his b-day to be in March, so he is still a pup. He has brought ALOT of joy to me and look forward to many more!

HI AGAIN..


Sorry I got lost for a while... been busy. My dog's name is Benji... he is black, white with alittle brown around his face.. I will post pic when I can.

I live in Murfreesboro, TN. I have been here for 15 years. I have two children and two grandchildren.

I am originally from Ohio around the Bowling Green/Toledo area. All my family still lives there. Just me and the kids here.

Benji has got some kind of ezema on his back... he scratches it furiously! I have tried a gentle shampoo with neem... not helping. I have been giving him benedryl till I can get him to the vet. It's not mites again because he's not losing hair. I have NO fleas either... anyone have a suggestions? I feed him Nutro-Max puppy food.
