Hello, my name is Shannon. I am a Sheltie Mom. His name is Buddy and he is about 5-6 yrs old now. We got him 2 yrs ago while we had a massive storm. He was running in our neighborhood and we brought him inside and put him in our friends kennel so he would be safe. Took him to local vet to see if he was chipped. Determined he was, contacted owner to no avail. They did not contact us. We put up posters, checked local animal control for missing/lost dogs, ect. Looked in newspapers and websites to no avail. So we became the proud parents of our Buddy. He is a wonderful addition and joy to our family. We have 2 kids 8-11 and he is amazing with them. Super friendly with almost everyone. Knows commands, sit, stay, down ect. Herds the kids when they run around, lol.

He is the sweetest dog. Good natured and really alot of fun. Follows me everywhere I go. I am his person. Laying right on my feet as I type this.
Will post pictures once I am allowed to, since I am new.

Buddy sounds like a delightful dog! How lucky you were in getting the right dog at the right time just sent to you like that!!!
