hello from n.y. new to board......

hi my name is kathy i'm a mom to my 2 year old collie/sheltie mix Joey. Before joey i had a full sheltie named Bingo, we lost him to colin cancer in october of 2005. He was 13 1/2 years old. :(

i just joined the boards and wanted to say hello to everyone. Introduce myself, and hopefully will post some pictures of my 2 beautiful boys soon.....

Kathy , glad to have you on the forum. I'm sure you will enjoy them. We all just kind of help each other out . They are interesting, educational and Fun. Here we all learn that we are owned by Shelties.:lol: Welcome again.:biggrin2:
 
thank you all for the warm welcome. I love being around other people who adore their shelties ! and yes they do OWN us !! :yes: I really do have to learn how to post some pictures and share them here. I live in n.y. and you don't see to many shelties. I only know of one near where i live. When i see them as I'm driving, I get so excited to see one. I have to say that I'm not used to such a vocal sheltie... Bingo who we had for 13 years wasn't very vocal yes he would bark at the leaves blowing in the street, or blinking christmas lights, but my Joey sounds like he is speaking to us, and he whines terribly when he is tired and wants his back rubbed so he can fall asleep :uhoh: NOT too spoiled .....
speaking of whinning...... better go he wants to go to sleep !

Hi Chris..... Sunny Bank looks beautiful !! How wonderful it must be to be surrounded by collies and shelties ! :winkgrin: I would love to come. I 'll have to see about taking my vacation in august.
