Hello from Nevada

Ya, we live in a town of maybe 700 people. We get to move into our new place on the first and it has 2 1/2 acres so the dogs will have plenty of room. Copper, our Vizsla is about 14 weeks old. We started to introduce but Pickles acted a little scared so we decided to give it a couple more days. Copper is a hyper thing and Pickles is more subdued..lol..Pickles loves our big pound puppy Loki, but he is calm. I'm sure they will get along great. I looked into the AKC Agility Championship in Reno and rooms for that weekend are cheap. I asked hubby about it and he said if we wanted to go we could. It should be fun!
 
Oh wow. That definitely is more than enough room. So Copper is still just a pup too. I'm sure they'll get used to each other as they ease into introductions. That's great that you guys are going to attend the AKC Agility Championships. Maybe you'll see one of the shelties from this site lol
 
Pickles is very sweet!! My sister has an over size Weimeraner and his exuberance can sometimes be a bit overwhelming for our one sheltie Mikos! It took a bit of time because Mikos likes to herd but Mac likes to wrestle so the combination was a bit awkward!:biggrin2:
 
Copper hasn't figured out yet that she is too rough so i am keeping them apart for now. I have never seen a dog with so much energy! Pickles is more of a doddle type. She is strange though, she won't eat or drink unless she is in her kennel. Will have to figure that one out:)
 
Welcome to the forum and welcome Pickles! Please tell your daddy to put a harness on you otherwise you could hurt your throat or worse wiggle out of your collar and get lost. You're such a cute little thing and I can tell you're going to grow up to be a beautiful Sheltie.

Better yet, a martingale collar.

Dogs can still wiggle out of harnesses, but a properly fit martingale is impossible to get out of. The trick is to get it fit properly.
