No wonder you fell in love with that puppy. Going past the pet store in our local mall was always very hard for me, too. My husband (well, he was my boyfriend at the time) did literally have to drag me away from it once when they had a Corgi puppy and a Sheltie puppy together in the front window... two of my favorites, and they're already friends... yeah, that was a tough one to walk away from!
Thankfully, the pet store closed not long after and I was spared future torture.
