Good morning. I just joined the group and wanted to introduce myself. Way back in 1978 I got my first sheltie. We were lucky enough to earn our OTCH in the early 80's. I got into border collies and aussies, and now 33 years later I now have a bi blue sheltie puppy.

I look forward to reading everyone posts. Can you post photos on the forum?

We LOVE pictures.

There are two ways to post pictures on our forum. The first way is to become a premium member. This helps Kelly, our Admin., maintain the site. Here is the information on how to become a premium member:

The second way is to upload your pictures to a free hosting website such as photobucket and share the link within your post.

Welcome to the forum! Would LOVE to see pictures! I use Facebook, Shutterfly, or Imagecave to host pictures.

If you have a Facebook account, there is a link all the way at the bottom of the picture page (be sure that you reload the page to full page rather than the slideshow window for pictures) that allows people that don't have Facebook to see the picture too.

Shutterfly is very nice as you can build your own scrapbook of pictures and they offer plenty of ways to turn your pictures into posters, books, prints, etc. It also has a calendar page so that you can enter your pup's birthdate and other important dates (obedience classes, Southern Sheltie Gathering date, etc).

Imagecave was the first hosting site I used. Its very straight forward but I now lean towards the other two options as they allow for social networking.

Welcome to the forum. Those of us without puppies love to live vicariously through those who have them. Please post pictures of your little one. :)

I have 3 shelties. Meggie is my 3 year old sable, the sweetest 16 pounds on earth; Cooper is my one-eyed wonder dog (double merle) rescued from Mid-Florida sheltie rescue; and Lottie-Jean, our pink ribbon cancer survivor, is the newest addition. My sweet sable girl from Second Chance Rescue in St. Louis. She is finally in her forever home after a tough life with a less-than-reputable breeder.

I remember Meggie's puppy days so well and miss that little puppy mischief. You must be having so much fun!!!
