I live in Tiffin which is in north west ohio about 2 hours north of columbus or an hour south of toledo
 
wow Chris...I was born and raised in the suburbs around Cleveland. I married and left at 18...lived around the world so have not lived there for a long time..but all my family is still there and I get to visit when I can.

Jessica I have traveled through Tiffin. The north west area of Ohio really is nice. I love meeting folks from Ohio

yes it normaly is a very nice place to live, but right now tiffin is dealing with a rapist on the loose! so far 2 women have been raped and 2 attempted rapes :eek2: 2 of them took place not to far from my house. the police are advising no women travel alone and keep all doors locked. now I am afraid to even walk my dogs while my husband is at work! I hope they catch the pervert soon and lock him away.

How funny! I was born and raised in Toledo. When I was in High School my family moved accross the line to Temperance, MI. I have a girlfriend from HS that was born in Tiffin and moved to Temperance in HS too. Crazy small world out there! I haven't been watching the Toledo news lately, tend to watch the Detroit stations, I didn't know there was a rapist on the loose down there. Be carefull!

My husband was reaised in Fostoria-- we know Tiffin well and have friends there. Nice to know there are Sheltie Lovers in the neighborhood!!!

Rizack...your babies are gorgeous. I swear folks back east shelties have such full coats, but us folks in the southwest have less then full coated shelties. I knew I shoudl move back to Ohio lol

I don't know about the cold weather causing full coats. Callie's got some fur and she is a southern sheltie. and let me tell you, walks happen in the late evening- she lets you know that's it's too early if you go out when it's still dripping hot. maybe that's why she is such a laidback sheltie though- she's a southern belle. can't get too excited when it's 80-90 degrees outside. she does appreciate her AC- more time inside when it's hot- late fall and winter, she spends lots of time outside then :smile2:
