Welcome! Willow is gorgeous! I love merles. That is very kind of you to let Willow stay with your grandpa. It is amazing what animals do for the human spirit!
 
Make sure you get lots of pictures of the pup growing. The grow so fast! I wish I could have taken more of Bacca, but I didn't have a camera at the time.

Now he and Indy are my number one subjects!

Thanks so much guys! And thanks for the kind words on Willow. She really is the greatest, and has lifted his spirits so much. My mom is there every other day to make sure she's taken care of, but he gives her so much attention.

I look forward to spending more time on this board! I love shelties <3
 
Welcome from another newbie. I got my pup 2 weeks ago, she was a 5 hour drive from me, but the breeder was great. She sent email updates along with photos updates, and I went to visit when she was 3 weeks old. Very cool and exciting. I have done the same thing, sent an email update - just to keep them in the loop.
Do take lots of photos because they grow so much and sooo very quickly - to be honest lots of my photos are a tad blurry because Emmy doesn't sit still for longer than half a second, and then for the rest of the time running around like an idiot - generally with one of kids socks in her mouth ... LOL
