You both have a very active Sheltie life. I have never experienced seizures in a Sheltie, but a Chihuahua many years ago. It's very frightening to witness and even more so to keep calm. We really do have great vets in Pgh and I hope there are newer meds to stop them. I'd be interested to find out how your Sheltie comes along.
Hello!! We do have excellent vets here! Ours in particular we adore
He is doing well..no seizures since his last a week and a half ago. He is back to being his wild puppy self which makes us very happy! Do you have shelties as well? We would love to organize some sort of awareness walk to help raise money for epi dogs. Would love to hear back from you!
Just by looking at the pictures, it's easy to see that yours is a home filled with love. Folks I know who have dealt with seizures say it often takes a while to find the best med. Facebook has a great page called The Wonderful Sheltie. There you can meet people from all over the world -- someone there may also have great thoughts.
Welcome!!
