Hello from San Jose, CA

Hi and welcome from another Californian! I am about 4 hours south of you on the coast. Our Brooke came to us from San Jose last July!

Raj is very cute and you will have such fun with him. Lots to learn and there's tons of info and advice to be found here. Probably more than you want, hee hee.

What a handsome little man you have, I love the one tipped ear, gives your little guy some character. You are in for a lifetime of fun with your baby, you will be amazed at just how attached you will become to each other, you have just entered the world of total and unconditional love. @Cindi, ahaha I am loving the puppy days. Sometimes, I wish he would grow up faster because puppyhood certainly has its challenges. But I can understand completely how the puppy stage can be missed. They're adorable!

@Margi, Yes, Raj was named after Raj on The Big Bang Theory! The breeder named the whole litter after Big Bang Theory characters. His siblings include Leonard, Sheldon, Howard, and Penny :biggrin2:

@Sharon, I wanted a sable, so I had to cast my search net far and wide.

I thought about changing Raj's name, but everybody called him Raj from the very beginning and it just stuck. After traveling such a long distance, we wanted to help him to retain a sense of continuity and comfort, so we figured calling him Raj would be soothing for him.

Besides, I think Raj a pretty cool name. It means 'royalty' in Hindi and paradise/heaven in Polish, Bosnian, Croatian, and Serbian. Nowadays, it suits him well as he has certainly been receiving the royal treatment!

I am always pleasantly surprised by how many people know what his name means. Once, after I told someone his name, she remarked, "Oh! So he's a little prince!" I thought that was adorable :biggrin2:

Here's another picture of him when he was 3.5 months old (1 months ago). His legs were so much shorter back then, ahaha!
