Until I put gravel down in part of the yard, my three, especially Liam, would come to the door completely mud covered from the belly down. Thank goodness I have a shower just off the back entrance I could stick them in.

Natalie and Liam are the two most apt to jump on furniture when they are muddy. It got to the point in the spring that I would bring them in one at a time, have a towel on the floor as well as a wash basin, and dip and wash each foot. I don't think that would have worked for Zet though. Tip: If it's muddy, throw a old blanket over the bed covers - at least if he gets up it would be so bad.

Welcome from Ottawa!
Dealing with muddy pups.....we have a little spring that runs around the back of our cottage that Bacca thinks is his personal mud spa. Every weekend when we first arrive at the cottage, it is the first place he visits (he even drinks it....blech!)
I've learned to always have towels handy at entrance doors, plus I discovered the Dirty Dog Mat (which you can also use as a towel) and the Pawmonster mitt (both are microfiber chammies with long loops that really grab at wet.

And like others, my beautiful duvet cover that I spent months deciding to buy, is permanently covered with a throw that is easily washed.![]()
