Hello, new today, new sheltie owner

Blu

He is huge now and just turned a year old. I had a friend who said the same thing. I've seen his parents and his litter mates as well as a litter born before him and they're all shelters. In fact, several months ago when Blu was about 25 lbs, I ran into the breeder with his sister from the same litter. She was a tiny little thing. The lady was holding her with one arm. Blu is a whopping 35lbs now but I think he's overweight. He's 17" If I'm measuring correctly. He's really filled out haha! I'm trying to make him exercise and the only way I can't keep him running is to take the laser pointer out in the yard at night. My daughter and I laugh hysterically watching him chase that thing. He's been obsessed since the first time he saw that red dot. It's an endless chase! I'll try to post new pics.

Admittedly, this is an old thread - but height and weight is probably always topical

- Minnie is just 1 year and 6 days  old and she is 17 "from what I can reach measuring and her weigh 23.2 lb
- I'm so afraid she must be to thick, so she should go on a diet. :gaah

I will not make me clever, but from what I know, there are many who have a bad experience with the use of the laser pointer as fun for dogs.

I searched just on google for a random article in English
