Hello Sheltie Nation folks from new member

Welcome Sharon, Asta and Ally
I have a 16 month old sable Sheltie, saucy Toffee.. I have no idea where he gets the sauce from... but here we are nevertheless, lol
If anybody forgot to mention it yet... we DO LOVE photos ;)

Wow, thanks everyone for the enthusiastic welcome! It appears I may need to become a Premium member to post some photos of my girls Asta and Ally. I will do so shortly.

It is great to be a member of such a fun and caring community! Thanks for the big welcome.

I just became a Premium member last night! It's worth it, it's for a good cause and it's fun:yes:

I am new too!!! Welcome!

I am new to this forum as well. I do not have my sheltie yet but hope to in the very near future. I want to know as much as I can for when I adopt my little girl. I have already decided on the name as well as the markings that I am looking for. I had a friend of mine whose mom used to breed shelties along time ago and I just fell in love with them. My hubby and I just lost our precious Chico who was a Taco Bell dog ( not sure how to spell the breed! lol) back in October. He was almost 12 years old and had several defects but I can guarrantee you that he had a life that was very much treasured....at least on our end. We got him when he was 6 months old and would have been 12 on Dec 1st. I don't want to rush into having another dog as I want to make sure that we have everything that we will need. She will need things that were alot bigger than what Chico had. His weight at max was only 4 pounds!! Anyway, I would appreciate any info or suggestions that anyone can give. I look forward to the day when I can adopt "Dutchess".

In His service,
Char in Indy
