Tupper, the one on the left, got very lackadaisical right around his sixth birthday and we thought he was just getting old but our vet did a series of tests and discovered he has (had) low thyroid levels. it was only a few weeks after he started taking medicine that he was back to playing fetch and roughhousing with Miki. as many others have said they are very special to us.
